Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing technology plans for autonomous stores, utilizing Revit as a design tool. The Low Voltage Engineer will hold an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification and will play a critical role in designing and consulting on the construction of data and sensor networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technology plans for autonomous stores, incorporating low voltage systems and networks.
  • Utilize Revit as a primary design tool to create detailed and accurate plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Consult on the construction and installation of data and sensor networks within retail and mobile merchandising environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to low voltage systems.
  • Evaluate project requirements and develop comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during project implementation and construction phases.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration of low voltage systems with overall project objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to low voltage engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification is required.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing low voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding of data and sensor networks, IoT technologies, and integration with architectural designs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with autonomous store technologies and concepts.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to low voltage systems
  • Familiarity with BIM 360, BIM Collaborate, or Autodesk Vault a plus
