About Us
Gallery is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and driven director of
business development to build long-term relationships with our clients and
identify areas where our products can increase value for those clients.
Through business growth strategies, the director of business development will
increase company revenue by positioning solutions that support our client’s
business with Gallery.
The director of business development’s responsibilities includes building
relationships with clients that lead to opportunities that will create an
active pipeline of profitable revenue opportunities for the company, attending
meetings with clients and advisors, notifying partners of crucial business
developments, and providing insight to the internal operations team. You
should also be able to assess business risks by analyzing financial,
statistical, and economic data to further Gallery’s brand image of being the
highest quality service-orientated firm.
To be successful as a director of business development, you should be
persuasive and have strong business acumen. An exceptional director of
business development should be adept at negotiating mutually beneficial
business deals and demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and
problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings and how those offerings
support our client’s business to identify profitable business opportunities
and -
Build solid relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and
internal teams. -
Visit clients’ venues, and conduct site walks to define and document
opportunities for design engineers and -
Assess marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and
recommend necessary improvements. -
Leverage design notes and documents to prepare proposals, presentations,
advertising, and marketing materials requests. -
Research trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customers’
emerging needs. -
Develop strategic partnerships with architects, kitchen equipment designers,
and food service design consultants to grow the business.
Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related
field. - Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 (Commensurate with Experience)
